This blog will be written by a stay at home mom/student. I am trying to enjoy every minute of life I get and raise my children to be happy with what we have been given. Anything written here will be by me, for my well being and piece of mind. I want to open other peoples eyes, and let them see that we can make it on less.

Cheap good times!

Well on Monday I am having my friend and her kids, and a new friend and her kids over to run through the sprinkler. We have a slip and slide but I'm not sure it will survive the weekend. We will be drinking tea and eating sandwiches and laughing at the kids. What a way to spend a summer day! I still have a huge amount of work to do before vacation and have decided that I am human and am only here for a very short while. That being said I want the house straight but have decided to forgive myself for anything beyond that not getting completed. I have ordered books online from the library and can't wait to go pick them up. If you have tried it yet I totally suggest it, so many things to choose from and our local library will get the books from other libraries for you. Oh and don't forget the movies, books on tape, and cd. I wish you all a great Thursday!

Indoor activities.

My boys never played with their train set until I got rid of the train table, now it's out all the time. They also love blocks.(the same blocks they've had since being babies) Today we pushed two kitchen chairs into the center of the room to make a net and I blew up a balloon and we played balloon volley ball. It is hilarious and even though I'm an adult it's still tons of fun. The object is to not let it touch the floor on your side of the chairs. Sometimes I even let the boys play dodge sock, they take rolled up socks and basically play war by throwing them at each other. I do have to be in a really good mood for that one though because who wants to find socks strung everywhere for a month. We are counting down the days till vacation. 16!!!! Anyway hope everyone tries the balloon thing and laughs at it as much as I do.

Using conditioner.

I love conditioner, my hair really feels smoother and I love it! I always apply my conditioner and then shave my legs, that way it gives it time to do what it's got to do. I also use conditioner instead of shave cream or foam and I always rub some into my elbows while I'm at it. I have been reading alot about the no poo stuff going on in the world and I believe I may dare try it eventually. My husbands comment was "are you crazy?" Anyway wish me luck with getting over the crud, my lungs sound like they are on their last leg, but on the bright side the phlegm is starting to break up and come out.(yucko smucko) Try shaving with conditioner and let me know if you like it.
