Grandma Mary Bell's Spice Pickles.
1 quart of apple cider vinegar
1 quart of water
1 quart of sugar
pickling spice
Bring all 3 quarts of ingrediants to a boil. Slice cucumbers long ways and stuff them as tight as you can into your jars. Make sure your jars are clean before hand. Add 1 teaspoonful of pickling spice to each quart jar or 1/2 teaspoonful to each pint. Add lids and put in a hot water bath. Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Remove and let jars sit overnight before storing or sharing!
